Hi! We are Spruce owners Judy Biesanz and Sarah Cain.

 

We accidentally began our business in 2015. Sarah was selling her home, and we decided it would be fun to stage it together. Little did we know how much work it would be! But when the house hit the market, realtors started contacting us about booking more stagings. We decided to go for it. A few months later Spruce had evolved into our full time jobs.

 

We have diverse creative backgrounds in home remodeling, floral, landscape, and botanical design, fine art painting, film set design and coordinating, and vintage furniture dealing and restoration. We hold degrees in fine arts and social work.

Whether it's mid century, modern construction, or classic old Portland style, we deliver unique and inspirational design that highlights the best of each individual home and is fresh and unique to the Portland market.
